Artichoke Bean Salad Recipes
The heart of an Artichoke is a more unusual ingredient and is artfully combined with bell peppers, onion, and cans of garbanzo beans (chick peas), kidney beans, and pinto beans. Add feta cheese and a balsamic vinegar dressing. Fruit can also be used in Bean Salad recipes, as in Apple Side Salad, which comprises of Granny Smith apples, celery, red globe grapes (de-seeded) and a can of kidney beans, with a creamy textured salad dressing.
There is no need to stick to the recipe book if you want to experiment with your own ingredients. Bean Salad Recipes are even more delicious with a salad dressing. They are fun to make at home but ready-made dressings are a good idea if you want to save time. These salads are ideal for a starter or a lunch or to take on a picnic. They are easily transported in sealed plastic tubs.
