Create Your Own Web Site or Outsource It?
Many people starting an online business are confronted with their first major decision – should you buy web design software and learn to create your own sites or just find someone to do it for you?
Like everything else, it depends.
First, are you just going to have one site? If so, then it makes sense to outsource it. If you are planning on having many mini-sites or blogs then it makes sense to learn to do it yourself.

For mini-sites the software I recommend is XSite Pro. It makes it fast and easy to set up web sites. For large, convoluted sites you may be better off with Adobe Dreamweaver or Microsoft Expression Web.
You might also consider using a blog or one of the open source Content Management Systems (CMS) like Joomla. These are all done online and once your template is set up it’s just a matter of adding content.
But, if your decision is holding up continuing with your online business, go ahead and outsource the web site to get things going. Don’t sit around trying to make up your mind for days or weeks while your business idea founders. Take action!
