Get The Ball Rolling For Internet Marketing Success
A ball rolling down a hill is the perfect example of the success curve for Internet marketing. At the beginning, the ball is stationary, and it needs a little nudge to get started. For the Internet marketer, that nudge could be registering a new domain name for a new niche market you want to explore. As the ball starts rolling, it picks up speed. This is you actually setting up the website and building some starting content. Later, the ball has picked up even more speed thanks to gravity. This is you setting up some advertising or affiliate offers and you start to make some money. This may seem like an old metaphor, but there is one facet that often goes overlooked: the slope.
Gravity will pull the ball down even if the slope has the smallest angle. Gravity is your desire to succeed in your business. Even if your “slope,” which could translate to a small task (like writing one article), is tiny, that ball is still rolling forward and gaining momentum. Maybe after writing that first article, you still have free time to do a second. The momentum increases even more. Don’t get stuck thinking about your workload (the hill) as a whole. Think of it as a bunch of little tasks that add up to huge momentum, which will lead you to success.
