Choose a Wilma Costume this Halloween
Halloween may be knocking at your door or maybe still a few months away, but that doesn’t mean you should not give up looking for excellent costume to wear for the event. Wilma is a fictional character from the animated cartoon series “The Flintstones.” The Flintstones is set in the pre-historic era where supposedly dinosaurs and human co-existed rather peacefully. Human society had actually developed to the extent where it simulated what human society had and was in the late 1900s. The dinosaurs were often depicted as having been domesticated with the Flinstone family even having a pet Dinosaur named Dino.
The Flintstones as a family was composed of Fred Flintstone, a construction worker, his wife Wilma, a strong and level-headed redhead, and Pebbles, their cute adorable daughter.
Wilma Flintstone was a strong woman in the series. She was capable of correcting many of Fred’s blunders and making light of a heavy situation. She was also able to express many feminine qualities. She loved jewelry. She loved chatting and gossiping with her neighbor Betty. She also had an especially soft spot for her husband Fred and had numerous displays of affection during a lot of episodes.
Wilma was often shown wearing a milky white dress. In keeping with the theme of ancient times, her dress is tattered at the base. Her waist is clinched so she does have a figure. She wears a pearl necklace or a white stone necklace. She wears her hair in a bun.
