DIY Cobra Power Inverters installation guide
If you go for this second option, be sure and securely fasten the inverter to a solid place in your vehicle so that it’s not getting bumped or moved around a lot. This will prevent it from also being stepped on if the unit slides out from under the seat or something. You should also make sure and not install it somewhere that isn’t likely to be spilled on. Right next to the cup holder would be an example of a bad location to install the unit.
It’s a good idea to install it somewhere that it is readily accessible and within reach. While we want to make sure that it does not get stepped on or going to have some things spilled on it, we don’t want it so isolated that it’s in the back of the trunk and unable to be reached either.
