Modest wedding dresses with sleeves
Modesty is hard to come by these days. It seems the more we “shout” the more attention we get, whether it’s at work, at home, with friends, or in other social settings. Modesty is definitely not high on the list of women’s fashion designers, and every year we see smaller and smaller outfits coming out on the catwalks.
For the soon to be bride this can be a problem, because she is looking for modest wedding dresses that also are beautiful. The challenge is to find such dresses in a sea of small wedding gowns, that are either sleeveless, strapless, backless, or all of the above.
Sleeved wedding gowns and other decent dresses can be found, however. You just need to know where to look. The best place to start is at the religiously affiliated shops. The Mormons are big on modest wedding dresses, just because of the sheer number of LDS members around the world, and the volume of dresses these women represent. If you can find a shop near you then you will most definitely find a great collection of modest, yet gorgeous, wedding dresses for your choosing.
Of course, if you don’t have such a shop nearby, then you always have the Internet. Do a search on google.com for “modest wedding dresses” and you will find a host of different online shops specializing in these gowns. Look for latterdaybride.com and totallymodest.com as they are the power houses for this type of clothing. You might also want to check out what Amazon can offer. Even though most of their dresses are not in the category “modest”, there are exceptions, and the prices there might just be right for the woman on a budget.
