Eat high fiber fruits to battle occasional bouts of constipation.
Blueberries are also natural laxatives and are known for its effect on reducing inflammations. Because it is a laxative and an anti-inflammatory agent at the same time, it’s good for relief from constipation and reducing inflammations in the intestines due to constipation. They also contain anthocyanosides known to eradicate certain viruses and bacterias.
Cherries, aside from being delicious are also one of the best bets for constipation relief since they contain components that can trigger peristaltic action in the intestines. They are high in fiber, potassium, vitamins B1 and B2, niacin and folic acid.
Grapes are rich in fiber, manganese, vitamins and minerals. They have a laxative effect. Consuming at least 2 lbs of grapes daily will provide constipation relief for people with occasional constipation.
