Global World – Learn A Second Language
Today we are living more globally than ever before. There are many factors that are responsible for this, the internet plays a big part in it. I am in California and I can place a call to Germany through Skype for free and also be able to see the person I am talking to in real time.
This is Star Trek, science fiction stuff that has become everyday occurrences. With this “new frontier” as Captain Kirk used to say, comes challenges. We need to be able to communicate with each other to be more effective. When I call Germany it would be even better if I can speak German and not just rely on them speaking English!
The internet has a solution, online language courses. Computers have become as much a part of our daily lives as the toaster. It is a natural progression that we use computers for ongoing education. Any time you have some extra time just log in to the course and practice. Learning requires practice, lots of practice. We’re living in a global world so learn a second language is becoming very necessary.
