Greek Island Cruise – Perhaps Even Romance?
Have you thought about a Greek Island cruise? There is something about the culture and the history in the islands that you can feel every time you get off the boat into one of the many fishing villages that are dotted around the islands. Going on a singles cruise to the Greek Islands is so much fun there is loads to do both on and of the boat.
One of my favorite islands is Mykonos as it is a vibrant island where I found out that the island really doesn’t sleep with the many Taverners that are scattered though out everything is open 24/7. Not one to sit on the beach although you could the sands are actually black and you can rent a day bed, we decided to head off on a ferry that went to other smaller beaches. We asked the ferryman what was a nice beach and he ushered on this little ferry.
So off we trekked taking our little backpack we rented a daybed and sat down but what I couldn’t help looking at was the visitors to the beach were all taking their clothes off…Yes it was a nudist beach we were at. Really I am not a prude but did not know where to cast my eyes.
The girl I went with just roared with laughter as she took off her top and exposed her breasts to the world. The ferryman looked at me with a twinkle in his eyes and I knew then and there that I had been had. But you know what? It made for one of those holiday stories that makes you smile every time you recall it.
Cruising to me is the only way to see many islands as you hop onto and off seeing the beautiful Greek islands.
