Number of Foreclosures Going Down

Published by at 9:06 am under Mortgage Refinance,Real Estate,Realtors

Here in central Colorado the number of underwater homes and foreclosures seems to be on a downward trend, which is of course a good sign. This is also the case in general for the housing industry in the United States. There are some indications that this is due to the fact that mortgage banks are slowing down the process of foreclosure. They have continually been criticized for using “robosigners”. In other words these banks are supposed to carefully look at each foreclosure situation on a case by case basis and try to allow the homeowner to work out his/her financial problems and perhaps keep the home. Instead they have been falsifying paperwork. Monument Colorado homes for sale has lots of information that can help homeowners and is a good general resource.
