Renter’s Insurance Liability Protection Makes Halloween Less Risky
All of the fun on Halloween can come to a crashing halt should an accident happen on your property. With all of the parties and ‘trick or treating’ comes an increased chance for some type of accident. A good renter’s insurance plan can provide liability coverage for tenants.
As a renter, having a contents insurance plan provides liability protection in the event someone is injured on your property. Sometimes, the injuries are severe enough for the injured to file a lawsuit to help pay for their medical expenses. Definitely not a good situation to be in.
While it may or may not be the fault of the tenant, having the financial protection can provide a sense of relief in the event an accident happens.
Make sure to read through your rental insurance plan, and verify that the liability provision is protecting you from possible lawsuits.
