Researchers Find Indicators of Long Lasting Marriages

Published by at 8:22 am under Divorce,Family Law And Divorce

Researchers have been looking for factors influencing long marriages in light of the fact that so many marriages end in divorce, the number being about fifty per cent. They have come up with a number of factors that seem to influence how long a couple will remain married.

The amount of income a couple has and what level of education they have achieved are two factors. Having enough money to avoid constant financial stress is important, and people who have attended college tend to have more life experience and have figured out the kind of partner they really want. The same is true for people who wait until at least the age of 25 years to tie the knot. Having children together and having parents who did not divorce are a couple more factors favoring long marriages. If you are faced with a possible divorce situation, Denver divorce attorneys can be of help.
