When Elvis swiveled his sides for the first time on TV, there was an audible gasp in the older generation. Buddy Holly had been unusual for the time because he wrote or even co-wrote many of their own songs.
He or she wasn’t flamboyant like Elvis and he appeared as if the young man next door with his trademark spectacles. His strikes included That’ll Be The Day, Daily, Peggy Sue, Oh yea, Boy, Dark brown Eyed Handsome Man and Real love Ways songs lyrics. Their tragic dying in 1959 within an air crash at the chronilogical age of 22 sent his fans into surprise.
