How to make natural soap at Home
Are you ever shocked at the supermarket and how much laundry detergent costs? Perhaps you remember having read sometime how you can make soap at home and perhaps you dismissed it then. These days though, what with people still not getting the jobs they hoped they might, things are somewhat different. If you’re looking to make soap at home for your laundry needs, these recipes should help.
Or how about this recipe – get a cup each of vinegar, baking soda and washing soda and a quarter cup of liquid Castile soap. Mix all of the stuff together, and make a thick paste. With a little more time given though, as you keep stirring the mixture, it will dry up and break up. For any of these soaps, you can just add a few drops of essential oil for a nice scent.

You’ll easily find washing soda and borax and the laundry aisle it supermarket. You can get Fels Naptha there too. If you live in a rural area and the water is hard, you may need to change the recipe a little bit. You need to try a different recipe. You don’t have to make them in these large batches. You can use smaller batches to try out the formula that will work best for you. Basically, if you need a large sturdy pail to mix everything in for free, you could try asking a local restaurant for a leftover vegetable oil pail.
When you finish preparing the liquid soap, you’re probably going to be disappointed with how messy it looks. Usually, if you’ve done it right, it looks like messy, disgusting goo. Not to worry – that actually is what it’s supposed to look like. This isn’t an exact science. You can put in more of something or less of another – it’s all great experimenting. Whatever it is, it’s going to clean your clothes properly.
