While reading sales pages will give you basic information, I caught up with Mike in person last week and had the opportunity to discuss this product in detail.

When you work at home over the internet, you have to think of it as a business, and businesses are always looking for new opportunities to generate income. There are a number of ways to expand, and we’ll look at a couple of strategies to help you assess where opportunity lies.

The first thing that you have to do, though, is to think about what way you want to ex-pand. If you are working at home part time in order to generate a little extra income, then your available time is finite and you want to focus on maximizing the profitability of the hours you spend working, not drastically increase the amount of projects you take on.

On the other hand, if you are working from home full time, but you don’t have enough work to fill your week, you want to look for ways to increase your workload.

A Monthly Analysis

Go through your work records and write out a list of every job that you have worked on in the past month. Include in this list the amount of time you spent on each job and the amount of money you made. Also, where applicable, write down if a job resulted from repeat work from a satisfied client, if the job was the result of a referral, or if the job is ongoing. Now, do some quick math and figure out how much you made per hour with each job and then rank them accordingly.

This is the list that will help you determine how to make more income. As far as one-time jobs go, look to see if there is a pattern for the kind of work you did versus what you were paid. For example, if you are a web content writer and you find that writing blog posts netted you a higher hourly rate than instructional articles, then make a note to focus on getting more blog post jobs for the coming month.

For jobs that are ongoing or repeat projects, look to see how profitable they are when compared to other hourly rates, but keep in mind that while these projects may not make you as much sometimes, they essentially represent guaranteed work for the coming month.

Depending on the exact type of work that you do and the exact method of payment, you may need to adjust the parameters of the list, but just by looking at your work history, you’ll be able to see what areas are the most profitable for you, and these areas are the ones you want to explore more in the coming months.

People from all walks of life are supplementing their incomes by becoming involved in affiliate marketing programs. For some it is approached with skepticism, but for those with an eye for moneymaking opportunities, it is a no-brainer.

This latter choice is often made when the affiliate marketer wants to make a big impact their website rankings for the sale of that item, and is usually accompanied by a strong marketing campaign devoted to that product alone.

Companies have different preferred methods of processing commission payments, e.g. Clickbank and Paypal, and it will be necessary to set up an account with these companies.

Diverse companies are offering affiliate marketing programs. Paypal and Wealthy Affiliates themselves will reward you if you send business their way. Then there is huge range, from the giant Amazon.com through to individuals who have published e-books, who are wanting affiliates.

Indeed, if you are a specialist in any area at all, there is absolutely nothing to stop from writing your own e-book, promote it on your website and offer it to affiliates to sell via the marketplace on Clickbank. People may be very happy to pay for your knowledge, especially if it shows them how to improve their hobby techniques or business.

Students, retirees, stay-at-home moms and dads are all making money through affiliate internet marketing; the opportunities are growing every day.
